The "controller" and data processor
Pursuant to Article 13 of the General Data Protection Regulation 679/2016 (EU) ("GDPR"), the Data Controller is the company 1.618 s.r.l. with registered office at PALAZZO ALBERTONI SPINOLA in Piazza di Campitelli, 2 - 00186 Rome - email privacy@1-618.it. Pursuant to Article 13 of the General Data Protection Regulation 679/2016 (EU) ("GDPR"), the Data Processor for personal data relating to the site www.1-618.it is the legal representative of the company 1.618 s.r.l.
Place of data processing
The processing operations connected to the web services of this site take place at the operational headquarters of 1.618 s.r.l. and are handled only by internal personnel, officially appointed as data processors. No data deriving from the web service is communicated or disseminated outside the company or communicated to third parties unless strictly relevant to the purpose of the processing or required by legal obligations.
Purpose of processing
Personal data provided voluntarily and optionally by users through the communication methods accessible from the site are used solely for the purpose of performing the relevant service. In particular, personal data voluntarily provided by data subjects will be collected electronically and processed for the following purposes:

The IT systems and software procedures used to operate this website acquire, during their normal operation, certain personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols. This is information that is not collected to be associated with identified data subjects, but which by its very nature could, through processing and association with data held by third parties, allow users to be identified.
This category of data includes IP addresses or domain names of computers used by users connecting to the site, addresses in URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) notation of requested resources, the time of the request, the method used in submitting the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the response given by the server (success, error, etc.) and other parameters relating to the user's operating system and IT environment.
These data are used solely for the purpose of obtaining anonymous statistical information on site usage and to check its correct functioning and are deleted immediately after processing. The data could be used to ascertain responsibility in case of hypothetical cybercrimes against the site: except for this possibility, data on web contacts do not persist for more than seven days.
Data voluntarily provided by the user
Apart from what is specified for navigation data, the user is free to provide their personal identification data through the dedicated sections.
Cookies
No personal data of users is acquired by the site in this regard.
No cookies are used for the transmission of information of a personal nature, nor are so-called persistent cookies of any type used, i.e. systems for tracking users.
The use of so-called session cookies (which are not stored persistently on the user's computer and disappear with the closing of the browser) is strictly limited to the transmission of session identifiers (consisting of random numbers generated by the server) necessary to allow safe and efficient exploration of the site.
The so-called session cookies used on this site avoid the use of other IT techniques potentially detrimental to the confidentiality of users' browsing and do not allow the acquisition of personal data identifying the user.

This privacy policy will in future be automatically consultable by the most recent browsers that implement the P3P standard ("Platform for Privacy Preferences Project") proposed by the World Wide Web Consortium (www.w3c.org).
